October was a busy month here at Traffic Management London, with lots of CAD work and new contracts won. We completed the traffic modelling for part of the Tideway Tunnel project. We have completed numerous CTMP’s and CLP’s along with the ever growing demand for CAD TM plans. We would also like to thank our partners at TGTM Ltd for all their hard work supplying TM to our customers. One particular contract for J. Murphy & Sons has been managed brilliantly with constant changes being dealt with efficiently and professionally.
We are looking forward to the Christmas break knowing that all the team will be in need of some down time.
Until then we will keep going and fingers crossed, we will become even busier. If you have a requirement for any type of traffic management or logistic planning don’t hesitate in contacting our team.
We look forward to hearing from you.
We have recently been commissioned by the Tideway Tunnel Project to provide a multi junction modelling capacity assessment. The purpose of the traffic modelling is to determine the impacts upon the local road network arising from the increased vehicle numbers associated with the construction site. We will be utilising our expertise in the traffic analysis software, Linsig & Transyt to determine the performance of the road network, and any necessary mitigation measures required.
The Tideway Tunnel is one of the biggest engineering projects ever to be undertaken within London, and we are excited to be a part of the successful delivery of this important scheme to upgrade London’s sewer network.
Please get in touch should you require any Traffic Modelling, or any other Traffic Management solutions.
To celebrate summer, Regent Street is becoming pedestrian only for each Sunday in July. We are proud to be delivering the traffic management for these events.
The closure is from Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus during these one-day events.
The festival style atmosphere offers something for everyone with retailers, restaurants and businesses preparing to offer the public 4 special Sundays throughout July.
We deal with many events in the capital and surrounding areas, to include premiers, exhibitions and more recently the Croydon Food & Music Festival which took place on the 24th June.
Together with our partners at TGTM we can supply a complete TM service to fore fill any scheme. Please contact us to find out more about how we can help your events or for the supply of any traffic management.
Due to the excellent performance of the England world cup side, and their outstanding win on Tuesday we were unable to put out a job. Following a tense 30 minutes of extra time we then watched with eyes half closed as England beat Columbia on penalties. The subsequent celebration was inevitable and with hundreds of fans on the street celebrating it just wasn’t possible to set the traffic management up. I was a great atmosphere and everyone was in good spirits, it really was great to see.
Lets hope England can do it again on Saturday against Sweden. This will not be an easy game and we have been beaten by them on the last three encounters. We just hope that if England can do it we don’t have to cancel another job.
Good luck England
Here at Traffic Management London we like to build customer relationships and develop how our services can integrate with them. By building up an understanding of what’s required from both sides we can save time with endless emails and phone calls.
By working closely with all our customers, whether a long term contract client or a one off enquiry, we quickly understand what’s needed and provide a concise and relevant solution. We pride ourselves on making sure we only produce what’s needed which saves our customers time and money.
A good example of this is our unique relationship with J. Murphy & Sons Ltd who we have been working with for well over 10 years. During this time, we have produced for them thousands of Traffic Management Plans, many of which have been on high profile projects. The latest of these are the Croydon and Sutton water pipe line replacement and the massive Brent Cross regeneration project.
We have most recently provided Vehicle Swept Paths to prove how buses and HGV’s can manoeuvre through temporary road works and diversion routes around Brent Cross. This is an important service, as with the VSP tools we have and the ability to show any vehicle, we can quickly show if a proposed scheme is possible. By doing this we have saved our customers time, money and possibly some embarrassment. It’s all part of the planning process, a process that with over 20 years in the logistics and traffic management industry, we really understand.
We are immensely proud to be working on the current projects with J. Murphy & sons Ltd and will continue to offer as much advice and give as much help today as we did over 10 years ago when we started work with them. The current project for Brent Cross is one of the biggest developments in Europe at the moment and with an estimated cost of over £4.5 billion, and a anticipated project completion in 2030 we hope to be working with them for another 10 years and more.
For more information about any of our services please pick up the phone and give our friendly team a call. We are always happy to help and look forward to hearing from you.
